In the Irkutsk region, a general plan for the future estate of the New Year's wizard is being developed. TURIZM was told what it will be like by the author of the cultural and tourist project "Fairytale Map of Russia" Alexey Kozlovsky.
According to A. Kozlovsky, the picturesque place chosen for future fairy-tale residence, located near the city of Slyudyanka. The total area is almost 18 hectares, surrounded by mountains and small rivers. At the moment, a general master plan is being developed, and then a competition for the best architectural idea will be held.
“All buildings must be maintained in a single style, taking into account local traditions and the general color,” says Alexey Kozlovsky. “In addition, the residence must meet high environmental standards.”
The estate of the Baikal New Year's wizard will be open all year round. According to the expert's forecasts, the first tourists will be residents of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, as well as foreigners vacationing on Baikal. The opening of the residence is planned for 2019.
Let us recall that the cultural and tourist project "Fairytale Map of Russia" has been implemented since November 2010. During this time, more than 20 residences of fairytale and epic heroes and dozens of new tourist routes have been created in the Northwestern, Central and Volga Federal Districts. Thus, this year the "Fairytale Embassy" appeared on the map at the Museum of Folk Life in the city of Irbit in the Sverdlovsk Region.
