The exhibition "Crimea. Season-2018" will be held in the format of business informal communication with an intensive program for representatives of the Crimean tourism business. Over the course of two days, more than 50 events will be held, raising the issue of preparation for the active season and answering the most pressing questions in the industry.
According to the chairman of the public association "Committee for resort, tourist and exhibition activities in Crimea" Maria Malgina, for the first time the event was entirely prepared by the tourism business for the tourism business and in cooperation with industry public associations.
"We set ourselves the goal of maximally promoting the development of the Crimean tourism business in a dynamically changing competitive environment," she noted. "We formed the business program based on a survey of tourism enterprises on social networks and tried to take into account your needs as much as possible. The speakers we invited will answer only the most pressing questions of the market."
To this end, the committee invited leading practitioners of the tourism industry, who are familiar with the modern tourism market, legislative requirements and consumer demand. Participation in the seminar's business program was confirmed by 37 speakers.
"The main thing we can be proud of is the fact that not a single minute will be wasted on abstract speeches by officials," says Malgina. "Famous business trainers will be working on the site, and representatives of Crimean business like to travel to the mainland to communicate with them. So, as part of the Yalta exhibition, everyone who wants to will have the opportunity to undergo valuable training without leaving Crimea."
Among the most famous speakers, Maria Malgina named the managing partner of the Alliance Hotel Management Company Vadim Prasov, the founder and general director of the RosinvestHotel Management Company Kirill Irtyugu, and the managing partner of the VAP Consulting Management Company Andrey Volokhov.
“A practicing manager of the Sochi hotel, Alexey Kutcher, will come and he is ready to share his successful experience of operating a hotel under conditions of changing seasonal occupancy,” she said. “The UPRO Group company is sending three speakers , who will conduct a one-day training course on sales and protection from a “professional” client, which is also becoming relevant for Crimea.”
The forum organizers determined the subject content of the training program using a survey of representatives of the Crimean tourism business. The TOP-5 included issues of interaction with regulatory authorities, legalization of small hotels, and hotel promotion in social networks.
“This year, we are paying special attention to inspections by Rospotrebnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, fire safety requirements and, in general, issues of interaction with inspection bodies,” Malgina specified.
In addition, a round table will be held with representatives of public organizations in the field of tourism on the topic: “The role of public organizations in the development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation.”
Together with the National Association of Balneology, which is represented in Crimea by the former Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic, Sergei Strelbitsky, a seminar is being prepared on the topic of health improvement in the sanatorium and resort institutions of the peninsula, and to a greater extent for children.
“There are many nuances here related to safety requirements for children’s health resorts, transportation of children, living conditions and food, which Crimeans simply need to understand,” Malgina explained.
For the first time, the exhibition will feature the “Professional Visitor” campaign with a competitive selection of participants – representatives of the tourism industry from the regions of the Russian Federation.
"Until February 15, we are accepting applications on the principle of one representative from one travel agency," Malgina noted. "The applicant's length of service in the industry and his experience of interaction with Crimea are taken into account."
Representatives of the tourism industry from the regions of Crimea are preparing information tour programs for the participants of the "Professional Visitor" campaign. The routes for visiting the hotels and excursion sites of the Eastern and Western Crimea are already fully prepared.
"At the suggestion of the market, we are holding the "battle of hotels" for the first time - a team competition of a practical nature that meets modern trends," shared Maria Malgina. "Eight hotels have declared their participation so far, where each team is headed by a general director or manager. The competition will be judged by experts invited to the forum."
THE ANNUAL INTERREGIONAL TOURISM EXHIBITION OF TOURISM BUSINESS AND TOURISM INDUSTRY ENTERPRISES HORECA "CRIMEA. SEASON - 2018" WILL BE HELD FROM 21 TO 22 FEBRUARY 2018 IN THE GROUP OF COMPANIES "YALTA-INTOURIST".
