The Federal Tourism Agency has compiled an updated list of hotels inflating prices during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
As of February 27, 2018, 23 cases of price gouging were identified, which is significantly less than in the first and second versions of the list, when the number of violators of the resolution reached 41 and 69, respectively.
The highest number of violations were reported in the Kaliningrad Region, St. Petersburg, Rostov Region, and Moscow. The Volgograd Region brings up the rear, with only one hotel found to be in violation of Government Resolution No. 89.
Unlike last time, when not a single hotel from the previous version of the document was included in the updated list, this time two hotels in Moscow (Grand Hotel Belorusskaya, Moscow Points Red - October) and one in Kaliningrad (Era Spa Hotel) appear on the "blacklist" again.
