RusLine Increased, Utair Reduced the Number of Moscow-Ulyanovsk Flights

RusLine Airlines has increased the number of flights on the Moscow-Ulyanovsk route. The frequency has increased to five flights on weekdays, but this has come at the expense of Utair's reduced number of flights, according to Travel.ru's own correspondent.

Starting April 2, flights from Moscow (Vnukovo Airport) will depart at 8:50 a.m. (except weekends), 2:10 p.m., 6:25 p.m., 7:35 p.m. (except weekends), and 10:50 p.m. (except Saturdays). Return flights from Ulyanovsk will depart at 7:10 a.m. (except Sundays), 12:10 p.m. (except weekends), 5:15 p.m., 9:35 p.m., and 10:45 p.m. (except weekends).

Travel time is 1 hour 30 minutes, and the route uses a Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-100/200 aircraft. The minimum fare is currently 4,300 rubles one-way, including taxes. This includes 10 kilograms of checked baggage and 5 kilograms of carry-on baggage. An additional 10 kilograms of baggage costs 2,000 rubles.

At the same time, Utair, with whom RusLine signed a cooperation agreement a week ago, has also reduced its flight schedule. Utair now has only two flights scheduled for April, down from the previously planned three, and only one starting in May. Meanwhile, Utair is now selling connecting tickets with a layover in Moscow on the Ulyanovsk-Moscow segment on both its own flights and RusLine aircraft.

Utair also completely abandoned the Moscow-Belgorod route, while RusLine increased its flight numbers. Utair now sells only connecting tickets to Belgorod, with the Moscow-Belgorod segment operated by RusLine.
