Air France expects another wave of strikes

Air France is expecting another round of strikes by flight and ground staff. They are scheduled for May 3, 4, 7, and 8, according to Travel.ru.

There's no list of flight cancellations yet, but the April strikes resulted in hundreds of daily cancellations, including several flights from Paris to Moscow and St. Petersburg and back. For now, passengers with reservations for any strike dates can reschedule their flights free of charge. Rescheduling is available from April 30 to May 27. You can also change the return date on the same reservation, even if it doesn't fall on a strike date.

Additionally, you can replace your ticket on strike dates with a voucher for the same amount, usable throughout the year on Air France, KLM, Hop!, and Joon flights. This is a good option for those unsure of their travel plans or who have decided not to fly at all.

The strikes only affect flights operated by Air France itself or its subsidiary Joon. KLM or Hop! flights are not affected. Passengers traveling to France should be aware that the country's railways will also be on strike two days out of every five over the next three months, making travel within the country difficult.
