It's finally here: for the first time in its history, WSOP Circuit tournaments are coming to Russia. The series, with a total guarantee of 252,000,000 rubles, will take place from May 18th to 30th at Casino Sochi.
The WSOP-C Russia series opens with the Colossus tournament with a buy-in of 16,500 rubles.
The buy-in for the main event will be The tournament will be played for 66,000 rubles, with a guaranteed prize pool of 120,000,000 rubles. Upon registration, participants receive 50,000 chips, and the game will consist of 15 40-minute levels. Starting on the second day, the structure will become more gradual, with blinds increasing hourly. The first day of the Main Event will take place on May 22.
The Colossus tournament will offer a significant advantage over its Las Vegas counterpart: a more affordable buy-in of 16,500 rubles and an excellent guarantee of 60,000,000 rubles. Players with deep bankrolls will be interested in the High Roller and Super High Roller tournaments, with buy-ins of 132,000 rubles and 318,000 rubles, respectively.
Multi-day Hold'em tournaments are also planned: the Monster Stack with a buy-in of 33,000 rubles and the Closer with a buy-in of 16,500 rubles. Each of these four tournaments has a guaranteed prize pool of 15,000,000 rubles. And if players get tired of playing with two cards, a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament will be held on the final day.
