Intourist cancels its Antalya trip from St. Petersburg.

Tour operator Intourist has been forced to cancel its program to Antalya from St. Petersburg due to a technical issue, effective June 13. According to aviation sources, Turkish carrier Atlasglobal, whose flights were the basis for the program, was denied permission from Rosaviatsiya. on the route, ATOR reports.

According to Sergey Tolchin, Deputy Director of the tour operator Intourist, the program is cancelled until the end of the season. "Despite all our efforts to find alternative transportation, finding a replacement is impossible. There are no available aircraft on the market. Therefore, we are forced to cancel our program on the Turkish airline," Mr. Tolchin said.

According to him, the company could offer tourists a certain alternative in the form of a weekly Turkish Airlines flight from Pulkovo to Antalya, but it is clear that this flight will not be enough to cover all the cancelled tours.

Intourist is currently negotiating with Turkish Airlines about setting up additional frequencies from St. Petersburg, but it is too early to talk about any results.

According to the company, application cancellations will be processed without a formal application fee. Refunds for cancellations will be issued as quickly as possible, but no later than 10 business days from the cancellation date, provided the necessary documents are presented.

If flights with other airlines are available, agencies can book a new reservation online. If the travel dates are comparable, to retain the hotel rate at the early booking price, they must include the old reservation number and information about the need to recalculate at the early booking price in the comments section of the new reservation.
