Russian airlines increased their passenger traffic in May 2018 by 7.91 TP3T compared to the same period in 2017, reaching 9.3 million passengers, Rosaviatsia reports, citing operational data, Interfax reports.

In particular, Aeroflot airline increased Passenger traffic in May increased by 4.61 TP3T, to 2.8 million people.
Last month, airline passenger turnover increased by 7.21 TP3T, to 22.5 billion passenger-kilometers.
In addition to Aeroflot, such major Russian airlines as Siberia Airlines (944 thousand passengers, +15.31 TP3T), Ural Airlines (735.4 thousand passengers, +91 TP3T), and UTair (582.5 thousand passengers, +3.61 TP3T) showed growth in traffic in May.
According to the results of January-May, all Russian airlines served 39.9 million passengers (+11.31 TP3T), passenger turnover increased to 100 billion passenger-kilometers (+12.11 TP3T).
The agency will publish updated transportation data for May at the end of June.
