The Spanish resort of Malaga on the Spanish island of Majorca plans to ban parties in bars and hotels with free alcohol for tourists in order to ensure the safety of guests and local residents, Interfax reports, citing the British portal Express.

"The resort's hotels and bars are planning to ban celebrations and parties with unlimited free alcohol for tourists because drunk travelers behave vulgarly, cause disturbances, and also risk being robbed," the publication writes.
Two intoxicated British tourists started a fire in a hotel and were forced to pay £26,000 (£1,000,000) in damages. A similar incident occurred at a pub, where 90 Britons were ejected for vandalizing it.
Furthermore, banning parties with free alcohol will reduce crime at the resort, as drunk tourists are often the victims of robberies in Malaga.
According to the portal, another important innovation could be quality control of cheap alcoholic beverages, which often turn out to be counterfeit.
Malaga is a popular resort on the island of Mallorca in Spain. It is renowned for its nightlife, attracting young tourists from all over the world.
