At the Louvre, you can see the Mona Lisa through the eyes of Beyoncé

Tours of the Louvre in Paris are now led by international showbiz stars Jay-Z and Beyoncé, according to Lonely Planet.

One of the most famous museums in the world, the Louvre, decided to diversify its tours and enlisted the help of famous musicians. Now, museum visitors have access to Ninety-minute tours accompanied by Jay-Z and Beyoncé. However, you won't be able to meet the stars in person. Instead, guests will enjoy a self-guided tour of the 17 paintings and sculptures that served as the backdrop for the American stars' joint music video for the song "Apesh **t," filmed within the walls of the French gallery.

Currently, tours are only available in French. However, the museum promises to add additional languages soon. Among the most notable exhibits in the Louvre's new offering are Leonardo da Vinci's portrait of the Mona Lisa, the sculptures Nike of Samothrace and Venus de Milo, the Ceiling of the Apollo Gallery, and others. During the tour, visitors will learn historical details about each work, though not in the context of the video clip, which has already garnered over 55 million views. The themed route is only available on certain days: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Interestingly, this isn't the first time pop stars have led tours at the Louvre. Several years ago, the song "Smile Mona Lisa" by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas inspired an audio guide.

If you're heading to the French capital, don't forget that the city boasts many other incredibly interesting art museums, including the Centre Pompidou, the Rodin Museum, the Monet Museum, and the Jacquemart-André Museum. A direct flight from Moscow to Paris in July starts at 33,947 rubles roundtrip. Be sure to check whether baggage is included.
