AccorHotels announces the opening of its first ibis hotel in Ulyanovsk. The hotel will be the first economy-class hotel under an international brand in the city's Zavolzhsky District. With the opening of the new ibis Ulyanovsk, AccorHotels expands its geographic presence in Russia to 23. cities.
The three-star ibis hotel is located on Leninskogo Komsomola Avenue, a central street in the prestigious New Town district. It's close to public transportation, shopping centers, and other city amenities. It's just 7 kilometers from Ulyanovsk-Vostochny Airport, a 15-minute drive away. The area is renowned for its clean environment and recreational opportunities, making it ideal for exploring the city in comfort.
Ibis Ulyanovsk offers 117 rooms designed in the signature ibis style, guaranteeing guests the highest level of service in line with the brand's international standards. Modern, stylish rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and boast excellent light and sound insulation. The new hotel also features an ibis Kitchen restaurant and public spaces for socializing and entertainment. Like all AccorHotels, the new ibis is designed to accommodate guests with disabilities. The hotel has been designed to provide their comfort, including specially equipped rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
The design of the new ibis Ulyanovsk was developed by the Moscow-based Sundukovy Sisters, taking into account the unique characteristics of the city. At the entrance to the hotel, there's an unusual structure—an airplane hangar. What does this have to do with aviation? Ulyanovsk is home to the Aviastar aircraft manufacturing plant, so the designers used aviation themes in the prints in the lobby and restaurant. "Interestingly, one of the prints is a photo of an actual airplane assembly, while the others are blueprints," explain Irina and Olga Sundukovy. The project's design adheres to the brand's standards. The first thing guests see upon entering the hotel is the bar. The reception area was located at the back of the lobby to free up space for more guests. The restaurant is divided into three zones: a buffet separated by wooden counters, the main dining room, and an aerozone with a blue ceiling and airplane print.
