According to tour operators, the forest fire situation is stable. In particular, Alexander Tsandekidi, head of one of the leading tour operators serving Greece, reported that all tourists are enjoying their vacations as planned and there are no threats to their holidays, reports "Tourist assistance".

"According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Disaster Relief and Emergency Center and several Russian media outlets, forest fires remain on the island. Strong winds are currently blowing in the Rhodes area, spreading the flames, which have engulfed bushes and small trees. Active firefighting efforts are underway in the forested areas of Rhodes and Zakynthos near residential areas, and a rescue operation is underway in the port of Rafina," the association noted.
It's worth noting that there may currently be approximately 3,500 organized tourists from Russia on the islands. All of them are in direct contact with their tour operators, and their vacation is not at risk.
