Overseas Attractions
Trip Advisor has compiled a ranking of the best parks and attractions, including 25 of the largest amusement parks worldwide.
The top two spots went to parks in the US state of Orlando: Universal's Islands of Adventure and Magic Kingdom. Both have nearly 50,000 reviews on the site. Overall rating 4.5 out of 5.
Puy du Fou Park in France came in third. Based on 12,000 reviews, the park received a 5-star rating. 85% guests rated the French entertainment "excellent."
A total of 12 American theme parks made the top 25. Most of them are located in Orlando: Universal Studios Florida, Disney's Animal Kingdom, SeaWorld Orlando, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Among the European parks that made it into the ranking were Europa Park in Germany, Tivoli Gardens in Denmark, Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios in France, Port Aventura in Spain, Efteling in the Netherlands, Leolandia in Italy, and Peppa Pig World in the UK.
Parks from other continents also made the top 25, including Universal Studios in Japan and Singapore, Disneyland in Hong Kong, and Beto Carrero World in Brazil.
