Russian Railways is running a discount promotion for early morning travel between Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod at the end of August. Tickets for Talgo (Strizh) high-speed trains cost 599 rubles, according to Travel.ru.
Tickets are on sale until August 17, and travel is possible from August 20 to August 31 (except August 20 from Nizhny Novgorod and Fridays from Moscow). The promotion applies to departures at 6:35 a.m. from Moscow and 6:43 a.m. from Nizhny Novgorod. Travel time is three and a half hours.
