Iberia will fly from Madrid to Moscow only in the summer.

Iberia plans to discontinue its Madrid-Moscow route for the winter and spring. Its final flight will be on October 27, according to Travel.ru.

Flights are planned to resume on June 1st, with a frequency of 4-6 times per week. The schedule is similar to the current one: departure from Madrid at 5 PM.40, arriving in Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) at 23:30. Return departure at 00:20, arriving in Madrid at 4:30. The route is operated by an Airbus A319.

Iberia has been reducing its presence in Moscow for some time now. Several years ago, the company flew to Moscow twice daily, then reduced to just one flight per day, and this fall, the route is only served three times a week. Now, the airline has decided to fly to Moscow only for a few months of the year.

As a reminder, Siberia Airlines (S7 Ailrines) also previously cancelled this route. Aeroflot continues to fly from Moscow to Madrid three times daily (twice daily in the winter schedule).
