The Mount Mishina ski resort has opened in the Altai region.

Today, the opening of the Gora Mishina ski resort took place in the Altai Territory, part of the Belokurikha-2 resort. The complex includes two ski slopes, announced the Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of the anchor company, Oleg Akimov, investor of the Belokurikha Resort project.

"The total cost of the project was 100 million rubles. This is the highest ski resort in the Altai Krai, at 800 meters above sea level. It features two trails suitable for both professionals and amateurs—each a kilometer long—a T-bar lift, and a tubing track for inflatable sleds," Oleg Akimov said, according to TASS.

He also noted that the site boasts a 600-car parking lot, a café, sports equipment rentals, and a recreation area. The ski lifts have a daily capacity of 1,200 people. The resort plans to host the largest number of sports enthusiasts on weekends and holidays.

"An artificial snowmaking system will be installed, which will extend the ski season by two weeks—until mid-April. Furthermore, the slopes are located on the north side of the mountain, where snow melts less rapidly," explained Vladislav Merkulov, director of the Mount Mishina ski resort.
