The business program for the Intourmarket 2019 exhibition is still preliminary, but it's already quite packed. The events are designed for a wide range of participants, including tourism authorities, tour operators and travel agents, and organizers. tourism events, tourism product promotion and IT specialists, tourist information center employees, hoteliers, and even students looking for work.
The first day will feature events on domestic tourism: a meeting of the organizers and participants of the interregional project "Patterns of Russian Cities," presentations of the cities of the Golden Ring, Moscow's tourism opportunities, and the "Living Lessons" project.
A seminar for hoteliers will be held, "Loyalty Program on TopHotels. How to Create a Productive Hotel-Based Community of Tourists," and an inter-university conference on tourism education, "Problems of Tourism Education."
One of the key events of the first day of the exhibition was a round table (11:00–13:00) entitled “Tourism for the Senior Generation: Challenges and Opportunities” (supported by the World Senior Tourism Congress), the concept of which is to increase life expectancy and change the usual stereotypes about travel for those who are commonly referred to as senior tourists.
The official opening will take place at 12:00 PM. Admission is by invitation only.
On the first day of the exhibition, a plenary session of the State Duma Tourism Committee will be held, organized by the State Duma Tourism Committee, the Federal Tourism Agency, and TARR.
Traditionally, the Intourmarket will host an international conference dedicated to the development of tourism in small historical towns, "Real Russia."
The ceremonial events will be held at the stands of the exhibition's partner regions: the Altai Territory, Tver Oblast, and Vologda Oblast.
In the afternoon, a Bulgarian-Russian roundtable discussion will be held, the topic of which is currently being developed, as well as a conference on the development of children's tourism in the Russian Federation, "Children's Tourism - 2019."
The second day of Intourmarket will be dedicated to charity. A charity auction will be held throughout the day in halls 8 and 15. Proceeds will go toward purchasing specialized equipment for sick children cared for at the "House with a Lighthouse" children's hospice.
Business events will continue in parallel. Key events include the "All-Russian Conference on Current Issues in Tourism Development in the Russian Federation," organized by the Federal Tourism Agency.
The seminar "Traveling in Russia: Visualization and Content in the Tourism Space" will be held.
In the afternoon, the annual meeting of Russian tourist information centers will take place, where best Russian practices will be discussed. The meeting is organized by NAITO. A presentation, "The Lives of Remarkable People," will also be presented. Organizer: the Leningrad Region State Budgetary Institution "Tourist Information Center."
The strategic session "Going IT. The Future is Today" will present online technologies aimed at improving the quality of tourism services in Russia's regions.
The third day of the exhibition will feature the IV All-Russian Forum "Eventful Russia" for guests, visitors, and exhibitors, as well as seminars on legal issues in tourism, including "The New Version of Federal Law 132-FZ 'On the Fundamentals of Tourism Activity in the Russian Federation. Prospects for Market Impact'" from the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST), and "Promotion of Travel Companies on the Internet" for travel agencies from TopHotels.
