On February 14, the First International Business Forum "Air Gateway to the Black Earth Region - A Platform for Developing Your Business" was held in Voronezh. The forum was attended by over 700 participants from seven countries, including Russian and international airlines, tour operators, and travel agencies. agencies, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Federation Council and the administration of Voronezh and the Voronezh region.

Industry professionals gathered at the forum to discuss the development of the region's transport system, new opportunities for passengers and partners, exchange experiences, and present projects and solutions for further fruitful cooperation.
Vadim Mikhalitsin, Deputy Commercial Director of JSC Transport Clearing House (TCH), participated in the forum's strategic sessions and discussion platforms. He spoke about plans and prospects for developing the regional transportation program through Russian airports (M2 multilateral interline agreement), and also presented a new service at Voronezh Airport—multimodal transportation, which launched in early 2019.
As TCH explained to TRN, the Multilateral Interline Agreement M2 is a socially significant TCH project for the development of regional transportation. It involves issuing air travel at a single through fare for several segments operated by different carriers. The project's goal is to create a broad network of connecting routes through airports using through fares and special passenger and baggage handling technologies. Currently, 38 airlines and 12 airports are participating in the project.
Multimodal transportation offers a unique opportunity for passengers to book both a plane ticket and a bus ticket in a single order. Thanks to the service provided by TCH and Chertovitskoye Airport, flights from Voronezh are now available to residents of the following cities: Lipetsk, Yelets, Tambov, Michurinsk, Kursk, Saratov, Borisoglebsk, Rossosh, and Liski. TCH already has experience successfully implementing a similar project with the Unified Transport Directorate (UTD) across the Crimean Peninsula via the Simferopol and Anapa airports. TCH plans to launch a multimodal transportation project in major regions of the Russian Federation.
We are confident that the implementation of the joint project between JSC TKP, ARS Sirena-Travel, and Voronezh Airport to develop regional multimodal transportation will increase the attractiveness of the Voronezh Region and neighboring regions," the Transport Clearing Chamber emphasized.
