Ctrip signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Russian agency AVIA CENTER.

Ctrip, China and Asia's largest online travel agency, signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Russian agency AVIA CENTER. This agreement was concluded as part of the development of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation through the establishment of dynamic and mutually beneficial relations in all sectors of the economy.

Under this agreement, Ctrip and AVIA CENTER have agreed to long-term cooperation in the implementation of modern technologies in the market for the sale of airline tickets, related services, and products in both the Russian and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets.

Built on both traditional and emerging internet technologies, this joint collaboration will focus on developing and sharing mutually enriching experiences, skills, products and developments to ensure that Ctrip and AVIA CENTER continue to provide high-quality, customer-focused service.

Ctrip, as a minority owner, will have significant rights to participate in strategic decisions regarding the development of the joint venture, product line and partnership programs.

Sergey Bogachev, General Director of AVIA CENTER, who will continue to perform his duties, said:

"We've been working with Ctrip.com for over four years. Over this period, we've established ourselves as a reliable partner, providing not only high-quality content from the Russian market but also a high level of service. We're truly pleased that, as part of the recently significantly improving Russian-Chinese relations, we've also found a strategic partner in Ctrip, a major international player in the travel services market. I'm confident this partnership will be a win-win for both parties: Ctrip will continue to receive domestic Russian content at the best prices, and AVIA CENTER will gain access to the world's best online technologies for selling airline tickets, hotels, and other travel services. Furthermore, thanks to the Chinese company's equity participation, AVIA CENTER will have additional financial resources to develop its network, product programs, new technological solutions, and business approaches."

Mr. Xiong Xing, CEO of Ctrip Group Flight, said: "The Russian market is one of Ctrip's key growth areas. By partnering with AVIA CENTER, we will benefit from their knowledge and experience in the Russian market. AVIA CENTER has been our trusted partner for many years, and we are confident that this strategic partnership will strengthen both organizations in the local market."
