The Federation Council once again advised tourists to refrain from traveling to Tunisia following the suicide bombing of the capital on July 2 as a result of a special operation by a terrorist involved in two explosions that occurred last week. Meanwhile, Travelers do not cancel their planned vacations.

As it became known, yesterday evening in a suburb of Tunis, a criminal involved in the terrorist attacks in the capital of the republic blew himself up after being surrounded by police. The man died at the scene. Fortunately, no one else was injured in the explosion.
However, Federation Council member Franz Klintsevich still advised tourists to avoid traveling to Tunisia. "This is, of course, a personal matter. But I always say: thank God that Russia has wonderful resorts, for example, Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory. And if you want a seaside vacation with your children, choose them, not those resorts where suicide bombers blow themselves up," he said, according to FAN.
However, Russian tourists themselves don't share this position. As the press service of tour operator ANEX TOUR told TRN, sales for the destination are proceeding as usual, and no one is canceling their trips to Tunisia. Moreover, tours for the nearest dates are completely sold out.
The United Network of TBG and Hot Tours also confirmed that demand for the destination has not changed—there are no cancellations.
