Aeroflot has increased ticket refund and exchange fees. This has had the greatest impact on domestic flights, reports Travel.ru.
The fee for returning or exchanging a domestic ticket has been increased from 2,300 to 2,600 rubles. For international flights, the fine has been increased from €35 to €37 (or from €$40 to €$42). The new fees apply to tickets purchased from July 9.
Change fees apply to all fares except the highest ("Maximum") in each service class. Refund fees apply only to "Optimum" fares (refunds are free for the most expensive "Maximum" fares, but prohibited for all others). Aeroflot recently increased fuel surcharges for a little over five years, leading to further price increases for most tickets, including award tickets.
