Aeroflot Airlines intends to resume flights from Moscow to Mumbai (formerly Bombay) next summer. The route will open on July 2 next year and will be serviced daily, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo airport) at 0.45, arrival in Mumbai at 10.15. Return departure at 11:45, arrival in Moscow at 16:45. The route is planned to use an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The minimum rates currently available are 23,341 rubles one way and 39,688 rubles round trip. Prices include checked baggage. Please note that high prohibitive rates are currently available for a number of dates, with standard rates available only for certain days. This will likely be adjusted in the near future.
Aeroflot closed the route to Mumbai more than 10 years ago, in the spring of 2009. The reason was the terrorist attacks in this city and the economic crisis. This year, Ural Airlines planned flights on this route, but the start of flights was repeatedly postponed and ultimately they never started.
