AZUR air launched a flight from Tatarstan to the Dominican Republic

AZUR Air has launched the first direct transatlantic flight in the Republic of Tatarstan: tourists can now travel from the region directly to the Dominican Republic.

 

 

As the carrier's press service told the TRN portal, flights from the capital of Tatarstan The flights will be operated regularly on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, every two weeks. The first flight departed Kazan International Airport on November 1st, with nearly 100% capacity.

AZUR air is the only airline that will serve this route in the upcoming autumn-winter season.

"The launch of the Kazan-La Romana flight program will meet the demand from residents of the Republic of Tatarstan and surrounding regions for direct flights to the Dominican Republic. With the launch of these flights, residents of the Republic who want to spend their vacation on Caribbean beaches will no longer need to transfer in Moscow," AZUR air stated.

According to the airline, the average roundtrip fare from Kazan to Moscow is approximately 6,000 rubles.
