Rossiya Airlines, together with the tour operator Biblio-Globus, have decided to cancel meals on flights under 5 a.m. starting March 1, 2020.
It is noted that in order to curb the growth in the cost of the joint integrated tourism product Tour operator Biblio-Globus and Rossiya Airlines have decided to adjust the meal plan included in the price of travel on flights up to 5 hours.
"Starting March 1, passengers on Rossiya Airlines flights FV5501-FV5949 will be served only soft drinks, tea, and coffee until 5:00 a.m. The decision to reduce the range of meals provided is based on an analysis of passenger demand and traveler inquiries addressed to the airline and tour operator, as a significant number of passengers are willing to forgo certain services and amenities in favor of lower prices. Deducting the cost of a full meal package from the price of a shared package tour and the option to order meals at their own discretion will allow us to accommodate the needs of various passenger groups," the statement reads.
In turn, hot meals, which are included in the fare for Business Class passengers, as well as for Economy Class passengers on flights lasting over 5 hours, will remain unchanged.
