
S7 Airlines is considering launching flights from Novosibirsk to Volgograd this summer. The route is expected to operate twice a week starting June 2, according to Travel.ru.
Departure from Novosibirsk on Tuesdays at 7:05, on Thursdays at 22:00.30, arriving in Volgograd at 8:20 and 23:45, respectively. Return departures are on Tuesdays at 9:10 and Fridays at 0:35, arriving in Novosibirsk at 16:05 and 7:30, respectively. The route will be served by an Airbus A320neo.
The minimum one-way fare is currently 7,600 rubles without checked baggage and seat selection, and 9,100 rubles with checked baggage and seat selection. There are no discounts on round-trip tickets.
It should be noted that due to the coronavirus epidemic and the unpredictability of air travel in Russia and globally, there is a significant risk that plans to launch this (and any other announced) route may be delayed or cancelled. Furthermore, some regions of Russia are currently imposing mandatory 14-day quarantines on arrivals from other regions.
