Aeroexpress, the company that operates electric trains from Moscow airports to the city, announced that it would replace most Sheremetyevo flights with buses on the weekend of August 3-4. The replacement was caused by repair work on the Savelovsky direction of the railway, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Most train services will be cancelled from 12:00 on Saturday, August 3, until 15:00 on Sunday, August 4. They will be replaced by buses running every 10 minutes at a fare of 300 roubles. Aeroexpress did not specify whether previously purchased multiple-use or advance tickets and round-trip tickets will be valid on the buses.
Buses will depart on Saturday, August 3, from 11:40 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Sunday, August 4, departures are scheduled from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Buses will leave the city from the square in front of the Belorussky railway station (arrival — to the Sheremetyevo-2 (F) terminal), from the airport — from the Aeroexpress terminal. There will most likely be no intermediate stops. Travel time has not been announced. It will probably be about 45 minutes — buses will travel along the M-11 toll road.
In addition, from August 1 to 7, the schedule of some late evening and early morning flights on the Sheremetyevo route has been changed. The schedule can be checked on the Aeroexpress website by specifying the date.
