Aeroflot is considering reopening flights from Moscow to Marseille this summer. Flights are tentatively scheduled to operate five times a week starting June 1, according to Travel.ru.
Departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) daily, except Tuesday and Thursday, at 8.25, arriving in Marseille at 11:35. Return departure at 12:30, arriving in Moscow at 17:20. An Airbus A320 is expected to be used on this route.
Ticket sales are not yet underway—Aeroflot has not yet received official approval from Russian aviation authorities for this route. Until now, it has been unserviced, with the exception of two years of Air France flights about six years ago. As a reminder, a month ago, Russia and France reached an agreement to slightly expand flight quotas between the two countries.
