Aeroflot became the most punctual airline in the world in 2019, according to the rating On-Time Performance Review, which is regularly compiled by Cirium Holding, a global provider of analytics for the travel industry.
As the study points out, Last year, Aeroflot operated 86,681,333 flights on schedule. Thus, the report notes, "the Russian national carrier displaced Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) for the top spot." Aeroflot also confidently took first place in punctuality among European airlines.
Cirium uses data from hundreds of unique sources and tracks over 100,000 flights daily to assess airline and airport punctuality.
