Aeroflot and the online hotel booking service Ostrovok.ru have signed a cooperation agreement: starting October 1, 2018, Aeroflot customers can book Ostrovok.ru hotel products on the Aeroflot website.
As reported to the TRN portal by the press service of Ostrovok.ru, The service is localized into five languages and is available not only to Russian-speaking users but also to the airline's foreign customers who make bookings on the aeroflot.ru website.
"We are pleased to partner with Russia's national air carrier, which has high service standards. We are confident that this new technological tool will improve the user experience and contribute to the development of Aeroflot's travel ecosystem," noted Felix Shpilman, CEO of Ostrovok.ru.
Ostrovok.ru's hotel inventory includes over 1,000,000 accommodation options—hotels, apartments, guesthouses, campsites, and hostels—in 220 countries worldwide. By working with 78 global hotel inventory suppliers and 28,000 hotels through direct contracts, Ostrovok.ru's prices are 40% lower than retail prices for similar rooms, ranging from 5% to 15% higher.
