Aeroflot is holding a sale on tickets to Europe and the Middle East.

Aeroflot has introduced a special offer for flights from Moscow to select cities in Europe and the Middle East. Tickets are on sale until September 5, reports Travel.ru.

Each city has a minimum deadline for advance ticket purchase. Purchase at least 80 days before departure: Tivat - 7822 rubles roundtrip, Barcelona - 9144, Rome - 7271, Thessaloniki - 10087, Venice - 11392, Milan - 11956, Larnaca - 10187. Purchase at least 60 days before departure: Berlin - 8088 rubles, Dusseldorf - 8988, Budapest - 8748, Dubai - 13780. Purchase at least 30 days before departure: Riga - 9262, Helsinki - 10485, Istanbul - 12033 rubles.

Tickets are on sale until September 5, with travel possible until March 30. Ticket returns and fees are non-refundable. Exchanges are possible for a €35 fee plus a surcharge up to the current fare. The minimum stay at the destination is until the following Sunday, and the maximum is one month. Aeroflot has also introduced discounts on a number of domestic routes.

When buying any tickets on the Aeroflot website (as well as almost all other Russian carriers), you should keep in mind that the airline may include insurance in the ticket by default. This practice, prohibited in the EU countries, can lead to a loss of 400 rubles on each ticket. To avoid becoming a victim of an insurance trick, in most cases you need to click on the "in order" field on the insurance services selection page during the ticket booking process.

If a passenger has nevertheless fallen into a trap and paid for unnecessary insurance, it can still be cancelled. In this case, before the start of the flight, you should notify the airline about the cancellation of the insurance service and demand a refund for the insurance.

Let us recall that soon passengers of all Russian airlines may lose the guarantees of free transportation of briefcases, handbags, backpacks, outerwear, as well as baby food, medicine, canes, crutches and other items necessary for medical reasons. This is the draft order of the Ministry of Transport, prepared after the appeal to the ministry by the airline Pobeda, which demanded that passengers be deprived of all these guarantees. If the draft is approved, carriers will be able to limit passengers to only 5 kilograms of hand luggage, and the permissible dimensions of such luggage will be determined by the airlines themselves (Pobeda itself already uses a tiny “calibrator” measuring 36x30x27 centimeters for this, in which it is impossible to place many ordinary small city bags, as well as some mobile electronics - for example, some laptops).

On October 28, Aeroflot will launch flights to more than a dozen new destinations. These include Nalchik, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Makhachkala, Dublin, Ljubljana, Gothenburg, and Dubai's second airport. Nazran and Izhevsk are also expected to be added to the company's route network.
