Aeroflot has made a discount on tickets from Russian cities to Tel Aviv

Aeroflot has introduced discounted fares for flights from several Russian cities to Tel Aviv with transfers in Moscow or St. Petersburg. Tickets are on sale until November 1, according to Travel.ru.

Round-trip ticket prices start at 14,054 rubles from Krasnodar, 15,493 rubles from Samara, 16,783 rubles from Sochi, and 16,768 rubles from Yekaterinburg. Departures under this offer are valid until March 24. Tickets are non-refundable, and fees are non-refundable. Exchanges are possible for a €100 fee and a surcharge up to the current fare.

When purchasing any tickets on Aeroflot's website (as with almost all other Russian carriers), keep in mind that the airline includes insurance by default. This practice, prohibited in the European Union, can result in a loss of 300 rubles on each ticket. To avoid falling victim to this insurance scam, in most cases you should uncheck the insurance option (for Aeroflot, it's located on the payment and credit card entry page).

If a passenger has nevertheless fallen into a trap and paid for unnecessary insurance, it can still be cancelled. In this case, before the start of the flight, you should notify the airline about the cancellation of the insurance service and demand a refund for the insurance.
