Italy's second-largest airline, Air Italy, announced the cessation of operations due to challenging market conditions. The announcement was published on the carrier's website.

The airline announced that all scheduled flights departing before February 25 will be carried out without any changes. Those who still wish to cancel their tickets will receive a full refund. After February 25, customers of the bankrupt airline will be able to choose an alternative flight on other carriers or receive a full refund.
Air Italy is a subsidiary of AQA Holding, which is owned by Alisarda and Qatar Airways. The carrier operates both domestic and international routes.
