What happened at Hotelbook's New Year's session?

On December 7, Hotelbook gathered its dear friends and partners for a New Year's session in the Dorchester restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Moscow. Guests were greeted by Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, who presented gifts and escorted them to a large table with treats and champagne.

Following this, Alexey Krylov, Director of the UTS Group tourism holding, shared ambitious plans for the coming year, and Natalya Yakushina, Deputy General Director, announced the launch of new programs at the corporate training center "Coordinate."

This year has been very active in terms of internal system improvements: we updated our own supplier for hotels in Russia and the CIS, HBconnect, to version 2.0; connected several new suppliers, expanding the range of hotels to 800,000; implemented the “Groups” and “Trust Order” modules, and also did a huge amount of work on preparing the redesign Hotelbook.

Next year will also be rich in new features: by mid-year, we're preparing a system refactoring that will introduce new functionality and capabilities. We also plan to expand the pool of direct contracts to 5,000 and to 1,000,000 worldwide. Very soon, we'll be adding the ability to pay directly from the supplier at the hotel. Restel, a little later it will be possible to pay for almost any hotel with a card upon check-in.
