Road accident in Turkey: six Russians injured

The tourists involved in a traffic accident near Marmaris, Turkey, sustained minor injuries and were flown to Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry's Situation and Crisis Center (SCCC) reported on Sunday, Interfax reported.

"Türkiye - as a result of the accident of a bus with Russian tourists near Marmaris Six people were slightly injured; according to the Russian Consulate General in Antalya, the citizens received the necessary medical care and were successfully returned home," the DSCC Twitter account stated.

The accident occurred around 5 a.m. on a highway near the town of Ortaca in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey. The minibus, en route to Dalaman Airport, collided with a tractor with a spraying machine attached to the back. Six Russian tourists, the tractor driver, and his 10-year-old son, who was sitting next to them, were injured in the accident.
