Visa centers' working hours will change during the New Year holidays

During the New Year and Christmas holidays, visa application centers for European countries located in Moscow and other Russian regions will change their opening hours.

According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, Austrian visa centers in Moscow and the regions will be closed on December 25 and 26. In addition, documents submitted after December 14 will only be available from January 9, 2019.

The Belgian Visa Application Center in Moscow will be closed only on December 25, and documents will not be accepted from January 1 to 8. Visas will be available for pickup at the Belgian Visa Application Center on January 3, 4, and 8. The visa center will resume normal operations on January 9.

The last date for accepting Bulgarian visa applications this year is December 21. Bulgarian visa centers will be closed from December 24 to 26, and will close again on December 29 until the beginning of next year.

UK visa application centres also observe Christmas on 25 and 26 December, and are closed from 30 December to 8 January.

German data centers in Moscow and the regions will be closed on December 24-26, December 29 and 31, and from January 1 to 8 inclusive.

Greek visa application centers across Russia will be closed on January 25 and 26. Danish visa application centers will be closed from December 25 to 28. Icelandic visa application centers will also be closed for holidays from January 24 to 26 and December 31.

Spain's visa application centers will be closed on December 24-25, December 31, and from January 1-8, with the exception of those in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where only January 1 and 7 will be closed this year. Cyprus's visa application centers have adopted the same schedule.

Exhibition centres in Italy are closed on December 25 and 26, and January 1.

Latvian visa application centres are closed from December 30 to January 8, and Lithuanian visa application centres are closed from December 24 to 26.

According to ATOR, Malta's visa application centres will be closed on December 25, and the Netherlands' visa application centres will be closed on December 25-26 and 31.

Norway's visa application centres will not accept documents on December 24-26, December 29 and 31, and January 1-8. Poland's visa application centre in Moscow will also be closed on these days.

Visa application centers in Portugal and Romania will be closed on December 25 and 26, and the Slovakian visa application center will be closed from December 24 to 26. Slovenian visa application centers will be closed for document collection and acceptance on December 24, 25, 26, 29, and 31, 2018, and from January 1 to 8, 2019, inclusive.

Finland's visa application centers in Russia will be closed from December 31 to January 8. However, the Finnish visa application center in St. Petersburg will have fewer days off: it will be closed from December 31 to January 2 inclusive, as well as on January 7. The Finnish visa application center in St. Petersburg will operate as usual for the rest of the first week of the new year.

French visa application centers have declared December 25, January 1, and January 7 as holidays. Croatian visa application centers are closed on December 25 and 26.

Czech visa application centres are closed from 24 to 26 December and on the last day of the year.

The Swiss Visa Application Centre is closed on December 25 and 29, but the Embassy in Moscow is closed to accept applications from January 1 to 8.

All visa application centres in Sweden and Estonia will be closed for accepting and issuing documents on December 24-26, 29, 31, and from January 1 to 8 inclusive.
