On September 23, the Ryazan Region will host the "Mushrooms with Eyes in Ryazan" festival, dedicated to the "silent hunt." The village of Laskovo in the Ryazan District will host the festival.
According to the festival's organizing committee, as per tradition, everyone will be able to take part in a four-hour mushroom-hunting competition. The best mushroom pickers will receive prizes, and mushroom soup will be made from the mushrooms they collect. Last year, they made over 100 liters of soup.
The festival will feature exhibitions, competitions, games, and musical performances. The celebration begins at 11:00 AM (with the mushroom picking competition starting at 7:00 AM).
