S7 Group Holding will merge its Siberia and Globus airlines: all Globus aircraft are expected to be transferred to Siberia's air operator certificate. This was reported by Vedomosti, citing S7 Group managers.

At the moment, Siberia is The largest private carrier in Russia. The airline's fleet includes 61 medium-haul Airbus A319/A320/A321 aircraft and 17 regional Embraer E-170 aircraft. Globus operates 23 medium-haul Boeing 737 aircraft.
As S7 Group Vice President Tatyana Fileva explained to the publication, nothing will change in relations with counterparties; all contracts will be re-signed with a single airline. "Absolutely nothing will change for passengers either. On the contrary, it will become a little easier for them: all flights will be operated under a single code—S7, while Globus, as a separate airline, will have its own code—GH," she said.
