On March 11, Arbat Hall will host the first large-scale project of the tour operator Intourist in Moscow: the IV Regional Tourism Forum, which has already become a tradition in other major Russian cities. In 2019, it is held in eight Russian cities and is the main venue. for meetings and collaboration between the tourism industry in each host city, bringing together between 600 and 1,100 participants in one venue.

The regional tourism forum is being held at the initiative of the tour operator Intourist with the support of the Federal Tourism Agency and regional tourism ministries and departments.
As the company's press service told TRN, in 2019, the Regional Tourism Forum expanded its geographic reach and is being held in eight major Russian cities: Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Samara, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Sochi, and Moscow. The forum kicked off on February 4 in Novosibirsk, where it was held for the first time, and will conclude on March 11 in Moscow.
In each host city, professional audiences were treated to meetings and presentations from Russian resorts, national tourism offices, airlines, and domestic and international hoteliers. In total, more than 50 exhibitors participated. Over the course of the forum, held in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Samara, Kazan, St. Petersburg, and Sochi, it has already attracted over 4,500 active tourism industry representatives, including directors and senior managers of travel agencies.
"Every forum participant, including those from Moscow, must pre-register on the Intourist tour operator's website and receive a participant's passport before the forum begins. Traditionally, the forum places special emphasis on the development of domestic tourism. Representatives from the Republic of Crimea, the resort city of Sochi, and St. Petersburg will present year-round wellness vacation opportunities and excursions," the tour operator's press service emphasized.
