
In most of France, the summer sales period will begin on the morning of June 27 and last six weeks, until the evening of August 7, reports Travel.ru. The exceptions are the Alpes-Maritimes department, which includes Nice and Cannes, and the Pyrénées-Orientales department in the south of the country. Here, the summer sales season begins on July 4 and runs until August 14. On the island of Corsica, sales will run from July 11 to August 21.
As for the French overseas territories, the summer sales schedule is as follows:
Saint Pierre and Miquelon - from July 18 to August 28
French Guadeloupe - from September 29 to November 9
French Guiana and Martinique - from October 4 to November 14
Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin - from October 13 to November 23.
