A new attraction, exotic for tropical climates, has appeared in the Maldives: an open-air ice skating rink. It's located on the grounds of the five-star Jumeirah Vittaveli Maldives hotel.
The eco-friendly skating rink was created using modern Swiss technology, writes AsiaTravelTips. Located right next to the beach, visitors can skate on pristine ice while enjoying the ocean view.
The price for a two-hour skate session, including skate rental and an ice cream, is $75. Subsequent sessions cost $50. The rink is open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM for visitors of all ages, but children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent.
