The booking service Tvil.ru conducted a study that identified the most popular trekking routes.

 

 

The survey results showed that 23% respondents named the most attractive route for trekking as a hike through caves. Crimean cities. In addition, the top three also included such routes as the Golitsyn Trail along the coast of Sinyaya Bay near Novy Svet in Crimea (20%) and along the volcanoes of Kamchatka (15%).

Respondents voted for fourth place in the rankings for climbing Mount Elbrus (5,642 meters) in Kabardino-Balkaria and a hike along the shores of Lake Baikal, visiting Peschanaya Bay, Mount Skipper, and Chersky Peak. These activities received 10% votes from respondents.

Other popular trekking routes included climbing Mount Belukha in the Altai Mountains, hiking in the Romantsev Mountains in the Tula Region, a hiking trail from Moscow to the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius in Sergiev Posad in the Moscow Region, a hike along the Protva River valley from Borovsk to Vereya in the Kaluga Region, and a hike along the shores of Lake Ladoga in the Leningrad Region and Karelia.
