Nordwind Airlines to Open Five Routes from Khabarovsk

Nordwind Airlines intends to open five routes from Khabarovsk when the winter schedule begins on October 27. It will begin flights from there to Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Irkutsk and Magadan, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.

Flights to Vladivostok will be daily (departure from Khabarovsk at 19:05, return at 7:30, minimum fare without baggage is currently 3925 rubles). Flights to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (9603 rubles) and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (5751 rubles) will be operated four times a week, to Magadan (11324 rubles) - three times, to Irkutsk (11667 rubles) - two times. In all these cases, departure from Khabarovsk is in the morning, return flights - in the afternoon.

The routes will use an Embraer 190 aircraft in a single-class configuration with 110 seats. The baggage tariff is more expensive by an average of about 10%. It should be borne in mind that Nordwind allows only 5 kilograms of hand luggage in the cabin, plus a briefcase or handbag.

When booking on the Nordwind website, the ticket also includes insurance (349 rubles per passenger one way) and seat selection (300 rubles) by default. This practice of selling services not requested by the client, which is prohibited in the European Union and a number of other countries, is still widespread in Russia. To refuse unnecessary services, click the "Refuse" button on the additional services selection page.
