The new Spanish Visa Application Centre in central Moscow now welcomes not only representatives of travel agencies and tour operators who process Spanish Schengen visas for their clients, but also private individuals seeking a Spanish visa, according to Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

June 5 The grand opening of a new Spanish visa application center took place in Moscow. BLS is the visa application center's operator. The center is now located at 1 Kaluzhskaya Square, Building 2 (part of the Europa Shopping Center).
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Spain, His Excellency Ignacio Ibáñez Rubio, and other distinguished guests of the Spanish Embassy, the Director of the Tourism Department of the Embassy of Spain (Turespaña) in Moscow, the Tourism Counselor of the Embassy of Spain, Mr. Luis Boves Martín, the management of BLS International Services Ltd, the organizer of the visa center, representatives of the management of the Association of Tour Operators (ATOR), heads of travel companies, and other officials.
As a reminder, the new visa center on Kaluzhskaya Square technically opened in mid-March—but at that time, it only accepted representatives of accredited tour operators and travel agencies, while independent applicants were served on Letnikovskaya Street.
The new Spanish visa center on Kaluzhskaya Square now accepts private applicants. The new center has 34 windows for individual applicants and 8 windows for representatives of tour operators and agencies.
"The new visa center's premises allow for the reception of tour operators and individual applicants on different floors. Based on previous experience, the new visa center has sufficient space to accommodate applicants year-round, with the number of application windows expandable during the peak tourist season. The new visa center has more space and is better equipped. Furthermore, it has a more convenient transportation location—just a five-minute walk from Oktyabrskaya metro station," the Consulate General of Spain in Moscow previously explained to ATOR Bulletin.
