Further strikes in France have led to the cancellation of train and plane flights.

France has been experiencing another nationwide strike since December 5. It will affect virtually all modes of transport. Numerous train and plane flights have been cancelled, and disruptions to public transportation are also expected, according to Travel.ru's own correspondent.

The action led to the cancellation of at least several hundred flights on December 5, including those using French airspace for flights between other countries. Since the air traffic controllers' action is scheduled to last three days, cancellations and delays are expected on December 6-7 as well.

National carrier Air France announced its intention to operate all its long-haul and most European flights (but also offered passengers the option to change their flight dates to nearby destinations). Aeroflot canceled one of its Moscow-Paris flights. Several other airlines, primarily low-cost ones, have already cancelled several hundred flights, including international flights from the UK to Spain, Germany to Portugal, and others. Passengers traveling through French airports or French airspace between December 5 and 7 should regularly check the status of their flights.

On the railway, the number of cancellations varies depending on the route. The railway cancellations may last until at least December 9. Disruptions are also expected on commuter lines, including airport lines. Some problems with public transport are also likely.
