From early September to late October, Rossiya Airlines notified its partners of the cancellation of its flight program to Sri Lanka (Colombo). As the Association noted, Rossiya Airlines is the only airline operating direct scheduled flights to Colombo during the summer season; charter flights to this destination will only begin on October 26. Tour operators are currently seeking alternative transportation options.
