Rostourism has responded to the problems associated with RossTour's operations. The agency emphasized that Rostourism will soon hold a meeting to which market participants involved in the situation will be invited.
In connection with the appearance of information in the media Regarding the temporary suspension of cooperation between tour operators operating under the designation "RossTour" and tour operators "Pegasus", "Coral" and "Sanmar", the Federal Agency for Tourism informs that the register of tour operators contains information on the following tour operators using the designation "RossTour": RossTour LLC, Tour Operator RT-Center LLC and Tour Operator R-Tour LLC
As the department emphasized, the civil liability of each of these tour operators for failure to fulfill obligations under contracts for the sale of tourism products is insured by ERV Tourist Insurance for 50 million rubles.
"Rostourism has currently sent requests to the above-mentioned tour operators, as well as their counterparties—tour operator companies mentioned in media publications—for detailed information as soon as possible about the current situation and the measures being taken to resolve it in the interests of tourists," Rostourism reported, adding that the agency plans to hold a meeting in the near future with the participation of the aforementioned market participants to obtain an objective picture of the situation and develop the necessary solutions.
