Rostourism announced the imminent start of accepting applications for subsidies under the Russian Government Resolution. This announcement was published on the official website of the Federal Agency for Tourism.
"The Federal Tourism Agency is bringing Tour operators in the inbound tourism sector are advised that in the coming days, a call for applications for subsidies will be announced under Russian Government Resolution No. 534 of April 30, 2019, "On Approval of the Rules for the Provision of Subsidies from the Federal Budget for State Support of Tour Operators Ensuring an Increase in the Number of Foreign Tourists Visiting the Russian Federation," the statement reads.
The agency also noted that the application process will open simultaneously with the publication of a notice on the Rostourism website.
"In this regard, we draw attention to the need to prepare a list of documents in advance, in particular, requests for certificates, the issuance of which takes time," Rostourism added.
