
Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) plans to launch flights from Moscow to Geneva this winter. These flights will operate four times a week on a staggered schedule starting December 17, according to a Travel.ru correspondent.
It is not entirely clear whether flights will continue during the summer period. Currently, they are scheduled only for the ski season – from December 17 to March 28.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, flights depart Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) at 11:15 a.m., arriving in Geneva at 1:10 p.m. Return flights depart at 2:00 p.m., arriving in Moscow at 7:55 p.m. On Saturdays, flights depart Moscow at 5:40 a.m., and Geneva at 8:25 a.m.; on Sundays, flights depart Moscow at 5:10 p.m., and Geneva at 7:55 p.m. A Boeing 737 aircraft will be used on this route.
The minimum price for a roundtrip ticket is currently 17,184 rubles without baggage allowance and seat selection, and 22,189 rubles with baggage allowance and seat selection. One-way fares start at 10,014 and 12,519 rubles, respectively.
Siberia is one of the few companies offering free ski equipment transportation with all fares, including baggage-free packages. The ski equipment carry-on limit is 23 kilograms, and you are allowed to bring one pair of skis and poles or a snowboard with additional equipment (boots, helmet, and goggles).
