The International Tourism Forum SIFT in Sochi will start on November 22. It will last two days and will be held at the Adler Arena in the Imeretinskaya Lowland. The forum is organized by the Administration of the resort city of Sochi and the company SOUD-Sochi Exhibitions, with the support of Federal Agency for Tourism, Administration of Krasnodar Region, Russian Union of Travel Industry, Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of Krasnodar Region, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Krasnodar Region and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sochi. The event is the main platform for discussing trends in the development of domestic and inbound tourism routes in Russia.
The exhibition area will be 5,000 sq. m. It will feature over 200 tourism industry enterprises from various regions of Russia and the CIS countries. Traditionally, the largest number of participants will be hoteliers and companies from the Southern Federal District and large national tour operators. The Intourist tour operator will present its branded stand at the exhibition, where it will hold business meetings and show new tourism products for domestic tourism and Abkhazia. The Intourist tour operator stand is located in the central part of the exhibition in the tour operator zone.
General Director of the tour operator Intourist Viktor Topolkaraev will take part in a panel discussion as part of the forum's congress program. The program of the congress, held as part of the SIFT forum, will traditionally cover current issues in the tourism industry. The topics of the congress events will concern various aspects of organizing domestic and inbound Russian tourism.
Representatives of federal and regional government bodies and tourism businesses will analyze the main problems and trends that influence the development of domestic and inbound tourism in the country. Speakers will be authoritative industry experts and professional business trainers.
