Another round of strikes by flight and ground staff at Air France continues. It has already led to the cancellation of hundreds of flights, reports Travel.ru.
On April 23-24, Air France cancelled numerous flights, including several from Paris to Moscow and St. Petersburg and back. Passengers on those flights were offered the option to change their flights or travel dates to nearby dates or receive a full refund.
Additionally, passengers with bookings for any strike dates can reschedule their flights free of charge. Rescheduling is available until April 30. The return flight date for the same booking can also be changed, even if it doesn't fall on a strike date.
Additionally, you can replace your ticket on strike dates with a voucher for the same amount, usable throughout the year on Air France, KLM, Hop!, and Joon flights. This is a good option for those unsure of their travel plans or who have decided not to fly at all.
The strikes only affect flights operated by Air France itself or its subsidiary Joon. KLM or Hop! flights are not affected. Passengers traveling to France should be aware that the country's railways will also be on strike two days out of every five over the next three months, making travel within the country difficult.
